The boring but important details.
Website allowances reset on the platform usage day. The separate API allowance resets at midnight UTC.
It means there is no fixed daily website search count shown for normal account use. The API has a separate allowance of 1,000 searches per day. Abuse-prevention, infrastructure protection, and fair-use controls still apply.
Pro includes 50 API searches per day with up to 500 results per request in JSON or text. Agency includes 1,000 API searches per day with up to 500 JSON or 10,000 text results per request. Each successful page counts as one search, even when empty. API usage is shared across your keys, separate from website usage, and resets at midnight UTC. Free does not include API search access. One bulk run is one job, not one domain. A Pro user submitting a 250-domain list uses one of their 50 daily bulk runs. The per-run domain cap is 250 on Pro and 500 on Agency.
Yes. You can change tiers from your members area whenever you need to. Downgrades take effect at the next billing cycle so you keep what you've paid for, and upgrades unlock the higher allowances right away.
No. Daily allowances reset, they don't accumulate. The numbers are sized so that an active user on Pro almost never runs out within a normal day's research.
Most people in that position pick Pro. The price gap is small, the allowances are large enough that you almost certainly won't bump into them, and you can always step up to Agency later if your workflow grows.
